Details on the latest venture for the company are limited, but Bobby Kaufmann, Vice President of Development, confirmed that it will be a drive-through-only location that will open sometime next year.
This new site will be part of Black Rock’s ongoing expansion in the Denver metropolitan area, which has seen the brand rapidly increase its footprint. Kaufman also told the publication about a Colorado Springs store in the works and five other deals in the pipeline.
“Denver is a key market for us, and we’re planning to expand our presence significantly in the near future,” said Kaufmann. “We have several other locations lined up, and we’re excited to announce them soon.”
Founded in 2008 in Portland, Oregon, an area of the Pacific Northwest known for its coffee excellence, the brand continues its rapid expansion into Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. In 2023, Black Rock Coffee Bar ranked 1179th among America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies by Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Annual List.
