Blazing Bird Opening in Aurora This Spring

Nashville hot chicken restaurant will offer sandwiches, tacos, burritos, and more.

If you like your chicken with a little kick, you’re in for a treat. Blazing Bird is planning to open a restaurant in Aurora to offer a menu featuring some Nashville hot chicken. Heat levels range from original (no heat) to blazing (call the fire department) hot.

Diners can choose The Bird, which is a buttered bun with a chicken breast, slaw, pickles, and comeback sauce. Other sandwiches include add ons such as a fried egg or macaroni and cheese.

Chicken tender tacos and burritos are available, along with a variety of tasty bowl options. If you want a cooler, lighter option, try a Caesar salad with original tenders.

The new Aurora location will be at 13700 E. Colfax Ave. It is tentatively scheduled to open to the public at the end of April or in early May.

Blazing Bird has several locations across Colorado including Arvada, Fort Collins, Englewood, and downtown Denver.
