Southlands shopping center in Aurora is welcoming a big-name tenant to the 23901 E Orchard Rd. unit. According to Heather Christensen Real Estate, workers on-site at the property confirmed construction is underway for a Bowlero.

“What I know from individuals working on the site is that they are almost finished with the interior work that Southlands needed to complete to the building and are almost ready to turn it over to the contractor that will be doing the interior finish work for Bowlero,” Christensen posted.

The transformation is happening at the former Bed Bath & Beyond space, a 38,000-square-foot building on the north end of the retail complex. It was announced last year that the developer would be bringing an entertainment venue, but the company name was not disclosed.

There is no timeline available for when the business will open. It will feature bowling, an arcade, and food and beverage service, and cost about $7.7 million to develop, NewsBreak reports.
