Chook founders Adam Schlegel, Alex Seidel, and Randy Layman have opened three locations across the Denver Metro area since 2018—at Platt Park, 8th Ave. and Birch St., and Stanley Marketplace.

Chook, which is Australian slang for chicken, offers no artificial ingredients or preservatives. According to the Chook website, they try to purchase more than 50-percent of their ingredients locally and use recyclable materials.

Diners can choose from quarter dark, quarter white, half, or whole chicken cooked over charcoal with a choice of sauce: gravy, chimichurri, piri-piri, macha, or barbecue. The side selections are abundant and range from potato wedges and celery-apple slaw to smashed cucumbers and grilled veggies.

Salads and bowls are offered and can be topped with pulled chicken or falafel. A variety of sandwiches and sweets are also available, along with wine, beer, and cocktails. Chook also offers catering.

The new Chook will be located at 2500 E. Orchard Rd., Ste. C, Greenwood Village, CO 80121.
