When we talked with Taylor at their current location on 3618 Tejon St. we were told that they don’t have a set opening date yet, but that they hope to be open by September.

Taylor also told us that the second location will still have a full bar and dine-in, but that they will also add a drive-thru for those who want the delicious chicken sandwiches on-the-go.

Chicken Rebel was founded by Lydie Lovett and started as a food-stand in San Diego. “She then traveled to Denver in July 2017 where she began with a food truck,” according to their website, and “that then led to her first brick and mortar in the lower highlands of Denver.”

We are very excited to follow the journey of Chicken Rebel from food-stand to now soon-to-be second brick-and-mortar location.
