The restaurant, which will be constructed from the ground up in a brand new unit, is part of the upcoming Runway 35 North development. The Chili’s is currently slotted to join a QuikTrip, Raising Cane’s, PNC Bank, Go Church, Superstar Car Wash, Fairfield by Marriott hotel and SCL Health Medical Group.

The menu at Chili’s is most well known for their baby back ribs and sizzling fajitas, as well as their margarita selections included the Presidente which is shaken and served at the table.

Chili’s, which was originally founded in 1975 by Larry Lavine in Dallas, Texas, has since gone on to house over 1,600 locations, with 60% of the restaurants being company owned and operated and the other 40% franchised.

The restaurant, according to its website, was bought out in 1983 by Norman Brinker, with Brinker International remaining the company’s parent organization.

As of now, it is unclear whether this new location will be company owned or franchised. What Now Denver has reached out for more information, but none has been given as of publication. While no opening date has been set, the Runway 35 North development is expected to open in 2022.
