Cinnabon was created by a father and son on a mission to make the world’s best cinnamon roll. While it took months of trial and error, the duo finally achieved what they’d been after — sweet, cinnamon-spiced perfection.

Following their success in the kitchen, the father and son opened their first Cinnabon store on December 4, 1985, in the SeaTac Mall in Seattle, Washington. Today, the Focus Brands-owned Cinnabon has locations throughout the nation and in over 50 countries worldwide with an expanded menu offering the craved classic in a variety of shapes and forms.

What Now Denver reached out to Crystal Lujan, Sr. Director of Operations at Focus Brands, for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
