Currently, Daddy’s Chicken Shack has one corporate store in the Denver area at Littleton Village, as well as one spot in Colorado Springs. Now, the fast-casual franchise chain will be working toward opening 33 stores in the Denver market in the next seven years. Pillsbury and the team plan to kick off the expansion with their first franchise location in the area in early 2025.
“We’re very active right now in identifying that location,” Pillsbury said. “We’ll be touring sites for the next location as early as next week and, if all goes well, locking something down as quickly as possible.”
Pillsbury has an extensive background in the operation of multi-unit franchises, construction and real estate. As regional developer, Pillsbury will assist franchise owners with site identification, construction and store openings. He will also be responsible for providing ongoing support to local franchise owners.
This brand expansion is not isolated to Denver. Franchise expansions for Daddy’s Chicken Shack are expected to take place on a national scale, focusing on city hubs across the country, including Houston and Orlando.
“Denver is definitely one of those hot buttons for our regional development and national brand expansion plans,” said Tony Adams, the president of Daddy’s Chicken Shack. “Denver is a fantastic market. We’ve got a great menu that people love, and we’ve gotten great responses out of our stores here currently in the market.”
Pillsbury plans to grow brand awareness locally by engaging with the community. He expects the brand to do well in Denver, highlighting that the menu features multiple chicken sandwich options as well as a wide array of sauces.
The brand’s leadership also has a strong track record in franchise success, with Dave Liniger, Jr., the son of the co-founder of RE/MAX Dave Liniger, at the helm as CEO.
“The opportunity to expand Daddy’s Chicken Shack with someone of Noah’s caliber in our home market is a major step forward for our brand,” Liniger, Jr. said in a release. “Noah’s expertise in franchise and real estate development, coupled with his deep connections in Denver, make him the perfect leader to accelerate our growth. We’re confident his leadership will elevate our brand’s presence in this key market.”
Right now, Daddy’s Chicken Shack is looking for local franchise owners for the Denver market to fuel their planned expansion in the community. The growth is expected to generate more than 600 jobs in the area.
“Daddy’s Chicken Shack is a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs,” Adams said. “There’s availability for people like Noah to become part of this network and to be part of that success story.”
