Plans have been in the works for months to bring Denver Biscuit Company to the former Steak ‘n Shake location at Quebec and County Line Rd. According to the Denver Biscuit Company’s Instagram account, the restaurant is now expected to open sometime this winter. Hiring is currently underway.

The Centennial location will include a drive-thru, and a new patio will provide ample space to enjoy delicious biscuit sandwiches such as the Dahlia or the Franklin in an outdoor setting. The Dahlia includes a sausage patty, apple butter, and a fried egg covered in maple syrup served on a buttermilk biscuit. The Franklin biscuit has buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, and cheddar cheese and is smothered in sausage or vegetarian mushroom gravy.

Biscuit plates are also a treat. The vegetarian or chicken Biscuit Pot Pie is smothered in savory pot pie filling. Shrimp and Grits and Strawberry Shortcake biscuit plates are also available, and don’t forget to add a side of Sully’s Fries, which are waffle fries smothered in gravy with Tillamook pimento cheese sauce and bacon.

Denver Biscuit Company has five other locations in Colorado and one in Kansas City, Missouri. The first Denver Biscuit Company, founded by Drew Shader more than a decade ago, is open on East Colfax and features two other concepts—Atomic Cowboy and Fat Sully’s.

The new spot at 8271 S. Quebec St., Centennial, CO 80112 will only offer Denver Biscuit Company’s tasty biscuit dishes at first, but Fat Sully’s pizza could be added in the future.
