GQue BBQ, a celebrated name in Colorado’s barbecue scene, is gearing up to open its fourth standalone location in Thornton. Set to debut in 2025, the new restaurant will be located at 2681 E. 120th Ave, according to the Denver Post.
Known for its mouthwatering menu, GQue BBQ offers a variety of smoked meats, including brisket, pork ribs, and wings, complemented by house-made sides like mac and cheese and pit-smoked beans. Guests can also look forward to weekly specials and a sweet treat from its Ice Cream Farm.
The Thornton location will also feature a full bar serving local beers and craft cocktails, as well as “Que Through” curbside pickup. It is renovating and moving into a former Wendy’s, which is a standalone property with a drive-thru.
GQue BBQ has existing locations in Westminster, Lone Tree, and Lakewood. Founder Jason A. Ganahl is a Rocky Mountain BBQ Hall of Fame inductee boasting 19 Grand or Reserve Grand championships in professional BBQ contests.
