A GoFundMe has been created by the owners of the Grinder Sandwich Co. to raise $10,000 to offset the impact of this unfortunate event. On Facebook, the company shared appreciation for those who have donated, saying, “Thank you to those who have contributed. It helped pay our employees.”

Amidst these setbacks, the owners are also working on opening their second location at 6050 N. Carefree Circle. Recent posts shared that they hope that storefront can be ready by next week, and that they hope to be able to reopen the Peterson. Rd property as soon as possible.

Founded in 2017 by three high school friends—Mike Greenberg, Johnny Perkins, and Pete Esson—the shop has been a local favorite for flavorful sandwiches. The relaxed eatery is known for its freshly made grinders, salads, and soups.
