As the brand new Chamonix Casino Hotel opens this week at 201 East Bennett Ave. in Cripple Creek, it has been announced that the resort will host a high-end steakhouse. 908 Prime will offer elegant dining with a menu from an esteemed chef.

The Gazette reported that Barry S. Dakake, a Las Vegas chef and owner of Barry’s Downtown Prime, is at the helm of the venue. He started out at eateries that have won Michelin stars and James Beard Awards and later formed his own hospitality company.

908 Prime will join a number of other food options at the hotel. There is the newly-opened Chamonix Bistro, a lobby cafe, Rendezvous Bar, and a pending Italian restaurant.

Chamonix Casino Hotel is a 300-key property owned by Full House Resorts and is connected to sister hotel Bronco Billy’s Casino. It also features a jewelry and clothing store, spa, rooftop pool, and fitness center.
