What Now Denver reported on Full Circle Restaurant group bringing I Heart Mac and Cheese to the Denver area back in May. Well, good news: The first location at 1100 Sgt Jon Stiles in the Highlands Ranch is set to open for September, with a second location following at 2003 Central Park Boulevard Suite 100 in Denver.
“We’re hoping to have the Central Park location ready by the end of this year or beginning of next,” said franchisee Vu Tran when he spoke with What Now Denver on Tuesday. “Everything’s been going well with everything so far, and we’re hoping the Highlands Ranch location will be open by September 15.”
The restaurant works by either customizing your own macaroni and cheese or grilled cheese, or choosing from one of the restaurant’s favorites.
The steps, according to the website, are to select your base, then your sauce, your vegetables, your cheese, and your protein.
The chef’s special selections also include things like the baked buffalo chicken with buffalo sauce, celery, blue cheese, and carrots and a “best of both worlds” that’s a baked mac and cheese sandwich with slow cooked short rib. The sandwich comes with white cheddar and American cheese and is drizzled with BBQ sauce on top.
There will be more Colorado locations to come.
