The gelato shop offers handcrafted desserts made with ingredients sourced directly from Italy, including a rotating variety of flavors, plus milkshakes, smoothies, bubble waffle cones, pancakes, an assortment of espresso beverages and Italian affogatos, and more.

“Gelato is a staple at home in Israel, and with plenty of great ice cream in Denver, we noticed an opportunity to introduce an authentic gelato experience to the residents and visitors of Colorado when we moved here,” Nadav Abergel and Yuval Fuchs, founding partners, said in the release. “Inspired by our own nostalgia, we focus on using fresh, high-quality ingredients from Italy to provide guests with hand-crafted dessert, and an experience similar to those of childhood.”

I Scream Gelato offers a variety of flavors, from seasonal and traditional to alcohol-infused and out-of-the-box flavors; even flavors to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergens, like vegan, gluten-free and nut-free. Guests can order a scoop of gelato served in a bubble waffle cone, a Belgian waffle cone, or a stack of pancakes, each served with toppings of choice. What’s more, each batch of ice cream must be served within 24 hours, “emphasizing the freshness of the gelato.”

Located at 63 Quebec St. and open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., I Scream Gelato Lowry offers indoor seating. While more locations are planned in Denver in the near future, Abergel and Fuchs will soon open a fourth location in Miami’s South Beach neighborhood.
