Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, the beloved San Francisco-based sandwich chain, is coming to Colorado. Father-daughter duo Blair and Camillle Woodfield of Woodfield Squared, LLC signed a multi-unit franchise deal in 2020 that will bring five sandwich shops to the greater Denver area. The franchisees have their eyes set on the Central Park neighborhood for Ike’s first Colorado outpost.
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches offers over 700 superb sandwiches with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options–all featuring Dutch Crunch bread that is baked in and spread with Ike’s Dirty Sauce. Award-winning sandwiches include the Matt Cain (roast beef, salami, turkey, godfather sauce, provolone, dirty sauce, lettuce, and tomato); and the Meatless Mike (vegan meatballs, marinara, pepper jack, dirty sauce, lettuce and tomato).
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches was founded by Ike Shedadeh in 2007 and has since expanded to over 70 locations across California, Nevada, Texas, and Florida with additional locations planned for Utah, California, and Nevada. In partnership with the franchise development company Fransmart, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is set to reach 100 units by the end of the year.
“We’re excited to be the first to bring the Ike’s concept to Denver because we strongly believe its innovative offerings and unique flavor pairings will resonate with the community,” Camille said in a press release. “We have full confidence the brand will be successful in this new market and are already in the process of selecting our next location, which we plan to open in the spring of 2022, if not sooner.”
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches will settle in at 8300 E 36th Avenue in Central Park, the largest residential neighborhood in the city. The new sandwich shop will feature an outdoor patio and be in close proximity to the popular grocery store Sprouts. Denver’s first Ike’s Love & Sandwiches will open its doors by the end of this summer.
