“I opened Ike’s in San Francisco in 2007,” writes Ike from Ike’s sandwiches on their official website, to “share my love of bringing people together over amazing food. Love comes before sandwiches at Ike’s and we are in the LOVE, RESPECT, and APPRECIATION BUSINESS.” In fact the sandwich shops’s full name is: Ike’s Love & Sandwiches.

Their menu consists of punny sandwich combinations such as: “Sometimes I’m Vegetarian” with “marinated Artichoke Hearts, Mushrooms, Pesto, Provolone” or the “Menage a Trois” with “Halal Chicken, Honey Mustard, BBQ Sauce, Real Honey, Pepper Jack, Swiss, Cheddar.”
