A new Indian fine dining option is opening soon in Colorado Springs. The family-operated Turmeric Indian Cuisine will offer authentic Indian dishes.
“We are bringing family, home cooked-style meals to the diners in the area. And, I’m hoping to bring more authentic flavors to the restaurant scene in the city,” said Krishna Sharma, owner of Turmeric Indian Cuisine. “We’re hoping this will be different from others.”
Sharma’s wife Asha Sharma is an investor in the restaurant, which will be located at 5535 Powers Center Point, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. They hope to open before the end of June, but more cosmetic work still has to be completed at the space.
They will offer tikka masala, vindaloo, and other traditional Indian dishes. “We know basically the food, but we are putting the menu together at the moment,” Sharma told What Now Denver.
