While the already-existing King of Wings location can be found at 7741 W 44th Ave Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, the incoming store will be located at 1100 Arapahoe St Golden, CO 80401 — the former home of Colorado Plus Cidery & Pub.

Since December, the Wheat Ridge location has been shut down and seemingly undergoing “treatment” to restore the building after a fire destroyed much of its function. The new Golden location, named King of Wings Tap & Tequila, will be housed in a 2,800-square-foot building — a 50% larger space than the King of Wings flagship store.

In addition to its famous grilled wings, The Golden location will offer a “tequila bar, margaritas, and a tap wall featuring 29 local beers — about twice the number at the original location,” according to The Denver Post

Eddie Renshaw and Evan Pierce opened King of Wings together as a food truck seven years ago before they traded in their wheels for Wheat Ridge walls. KoW offers a vast assortment of fire-grilled wings, tenders, savory sides, and tantalizing sauces all primed to be paired with cold craft beers and, soon, tequila.
