The brand owned by childhood friends Gary Rubenyan, Arman Oganesyan, Tommy Rubenyan, and the namesake David Kopushyan (who was trained at Thomas Keller’s restaurant Bouchon,) started as a parking lot pop-up where you pulled up, paid cash, and ate messy amongst the parked cars.

Now, Dave’s has new locations opening up all over the country with franchising opportunities. Their second outpost in Colorado will mark their 13th brick-and-mortar location and will be located on 1615 Platte Street in The Circa Building.

The Circa Building is a “four-story, 96,000 square foot building, with 30,000 square foot floor plates, and 80,000 square feet of rentable office space,” according to their website, and boasts a “150-year history of commerce and industry.”

According to 303 Magazine, the “local franchisees Jason Beld and Marc Rogers plan to construct at least 10 additional Dave’s — most landing in the Denver Metro and Fort Collins” over the next couple of years.
