Now, a second Lizzie’s location is under construction at 970 West 104th Ave., Northglenn, CO 80234. “The atmosphere at Lizzie’s is unmatched in Colorado axe throwing establishments, and we want to elevate the industry by expanding,” Silver said.

Axe throwing is becoming more popular. “It’s something fun. There’s an element of perceived danger in it, too, and really high competition,” Silver said. “The atmosphere at Lizzie’s is a much more relaxed environment.”

All ages are welcome at Lizzie’s. A staff member will review safety procedures and demonstrate how to throw the axe.

The new 8,600-square-foot space in Northglenn will feature 16 public axe throwing targets and a private throwing lounge/meeting space. An arcade and pool tables will offer more fun for visitors.

The Northglenn location will offer a full bar and a food menu to include chicken bites, mozzarella sticks, nachos, and soft pretzels. Silver hopes to open the second Lizzie’s Axe Throwing in July 2022.

Lizzie’s also has a mobile throwing unit to set up at festivals and events. Guests can also rent the mobile unit for graduations, birthday parties, and more.  “We just roll up to their party at their house, and people come throw.”
