Fresh lobster served in a variety of ways: hot or cold, buttered-up or mayo-ed up, in a soft roll… The Maryland-based lobster roll brand: Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is bringing all that lobster and more to Colorado for the first time. Its new location in Denver will be on 2415 E. 2nd Ave., in the building that used to house Ink Coffee.

Father and son duo Gary and Michael Findlay will be the franchise owners of this location and hope to open the restaurant by the end of August or beginning of September. Gary Findlay is originally from the East Coast and Michael Findlay found himself working on the East Coast after college–this is what drove the duo to bring a taste of New England back home to Denver.

According to Mason’s Famous Lobster Roll’s website, the menu features lobster rolls such as The Classic Lobster Roll served “chilled with mayo and lemon butter” or The Connecticut Roll “served warm [and] tossed in butter.” The brand also serves other specialties such as Lobster Grilled Cheese or Lobster Mac & Cheese.

According to our intel, it seems like the Findlays are looking to expand even further and maybe even open another location of Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls in Boulder. We can’t wait for more lobster in Denver.
