Philp started Me Oh My in 2012, selling pies out of a small coffee shop in the town where she lived. Eventually, Philp ended up buying that very business before expanding into a 6,000-square-foot space.

Before pies, however, Philp was a college student studying English Education, a skill set she would later use in the Peace Corps in China where she served as a teacher. And before that, Philp worked at a coffee shop in Fort Collins called Deja Vu where she learned that a coffee shop could be a catalyst for serving the community.

So, as things often do, everything eventually came sweetly full circle. Today, Philp is gearing up to open a second Me Oh My location where it can only be assumed she’ll pump out delicious, seasonal pies along with her robust breakfast and lunch menu.

Some of Philp’s savory items include soups of the day, roast beef sandwiches, biscuits & gravy, breakfast burritos, and bagels & lox. What’s more, Philp told Voyage Denver in 2020 that “what sets [Me Oh My] apart from others is that we make everything from scratch and by hand. We do over 600 pies at Thanksgiving every year and do it all completely by hand without even a dough press. We hand make all dough, hand roll it, everything. There’s a reason we call them ‘Pie-ceps.’”
