Nate Heim owns the future Greenwood Village Spitz location and previously worked as general manager at a Spitz restaurant in Utah. “About four years ago, I decided I wanted to move to Denver, and I wanted to bring Spitz with me. Eventually, I made that happen,” Heim told What Now Denver. “I’m really excited about it.”

Spitz offers an extensive menu including lunch and dinner options, a vegan menu, and a full bar. Some house favorites include Street Cart Fries that include fries topped with garlic aioli, feta, green pepper, tomato, olives, and more.

Another favorite is Doquitos, which is lavash bread rolled with zesty feta, onion, aioli, fried to perfection, smothered with toppings. Combos featuring a variety of wraps, bowls, salads, and more dot the menu.

“It’s got a really fun atmosphere,” Heim said. “I just hope to bring joy to a lot of people.”

Spitz currently has locations in California, Minnesota, Oregon, and Utah with more franchise locations in planning. The Greenwood Village location is tentatively scheduled to open in June of 2022 at 8181 E. Arapahoe Rd. Heim’s goal is to open at least three other Colorado Spitz locations over the next five years.
