A new Cold Stone Creamery is set to be under construction soon, contracting records show. The shop, which will be at 5901 Silverstone Dr. in Frederick, is part of a big boom of incoming businesses in the growing city.
The 1,200-square-foot shell it will occupy is part of a 9,000-square-foot building, with an estimated project value of $240,000. The build-out is set to begin next week, with a completion date expected by January 31, 2025.
As of now, the closest existing locations are in Boulder, Brighton, and Longmont. Overall, the company has more than 1,500 locations globally, across more than 25 countries.
Cold Stone is famous for its signature ice cream, blended with mix-ins on a cold granite stone. Customers can create their own tailored desserts, with candies, nuts, fruits, and more. Popular menu items include the “Signature Creations” such as Founder’s Favorite and Birthday Cake Remix.
