On the plot of land in the hear of the Sunnyside neighborhood, Mainline West is working with Davis Urban Architects to construct a new building and redesign the current space (an old mechanic garage now used by Fitness Solutions gym).

Anthony Caselli is co-owner of the new business, listed on permits as Sunnyside Station LLC. He told What Now Denver they ”expect to have a gym [FitSol] and a food and beverage space in the new building on the corner, a coffee or ice cream space in the gabled structure, and some type of boutique in the old garage.”

Caselli explained that construction drawings have been submitted and they are waiting on approval for every permit they need, and he expects to begin some time this summer. His estimation is that the establishment will be open in mid-2024.

Of the project, Caselli said it’s been “a lot of fun” and that “Marika McCullough [from Davis Urban] has done a tremendous job designing.”
