According to a post on the New Image Brewing Facebook page, construction on the second taproom at the brewery’s production facility at 9505 W. 44th Ave. in Wheat Ridge is progressing well. The post goes on to say the space is taking shape and will open sometime early next year.

Founder and head brewer Brandon Capps opened the first New Image Brewing location in Olde Town Arvada back in 2014. He signed the lease for the small production space in Wheat Ridge in 2017 with plans to open a second taproom, but as production grew, New Image Brewing needed more brewing space. Capp acquired more square-footage, but then the COVID pandemic hit, stalling progress on the new taproom.

Plans were finally approved this past September, and construction began. According to a Westword article, the new taproom will include a patio and wood-fired pizza truck, with a spacious beer garden and food truck park expected to open a few months later.

The New Image Brewing beer menu is extensive with a host of featured IPAs on draft—the Perpetual Beta, the Eject Mindcapsule, and the Double Double Double Double, to name a few. New releases this month include a Pint Cake variant, Gingerbread, and a new adjunct stout series, Underworld Barista. A multitude of canned and bottled beer, as well as featured guest beers are also available.
