A new English tea room, The Duchess, will open at 255 Linden St., in mid-November, according to The Coloradoan. The location formerly belonged to wine bar Ciao Vino.
The spot will focus on providing an authentic English tea experience to customers, with a menu that offers a variety of English teas as well as scones and tea sandwiches. It will have a modern, bright interior design and will seat 30 customers.
The new location will have similarities to St. Pierre’s current concept in Estes Park. SereniTEA is an “elegant tea room and cafe with brunch and afternoon tea,” according to its website. The menu there features a crepe bar, brunch, afternoon tea, charcuterie and tapas.
St. Pierre also owns the Rocky Mountain SereniTea Shop in Estes Park, which sells a variety of green, white, black, seasonal and signature tea blends.
The Duchess will also be available for private events, such as birthday parties. The spot is currently under construction to prepare The Duchess for opening.
