Loveland’s nightlife scene may soon gain a unique venue: The Love Shack Craft Mocktails. To be Northern Colorado’s first entirely alcohol-free bar, the business is preparing for a brick-and-mortar debut sometime in the spring of 2025.

Founder Hän Cassera, a DJ, launched The Love Shack as a mobile mocktail bar last year after recognizing the need for fully sober gathering spots. Cassera wanted to create a completely alcohol-free nightlife space where people could gather without being under the influence.
After seeking support through the Larimer Small Business Development Center, his GoFundMe campaign and event fundraisers have raised almost $10,000. Now, Cassera is actively scouting potential locations in Loveland, including the former Hobnob Restaurant at 205 W. Fourth St., which has been vacant for five years.
The Love Shack will offer craft mocktails, prepackaged spirits, wines, and beers. During the day, the venue will have coffee, tea, and smoothies. It will feature a lounge area, dance floor, and pool tables, and host live music, karaoke nights, comedy shows, and sober-friendly wedding receptions.
“The opposite of addiction is connection. We hope to see you at The Love Shack when we open!” Cassera shared with What Now Denver.
