A new Colorado brewery is in the planning stages. The owner of Damn Handsome Brewing thought he had found the perfect spot for the new concept last March, but it fell through. So now, owner Craig Kneeland is on the search for a new space, most likely in Fort Collins.

Kneeland and his wife moved to Colorado in 2010. “We would visit the local breweries, and I got interested in brewing beer. So a few years later, I started homebrewing. I really enjoyed it,” Kneeland told What Now Denver. “It was fun experimenting, creating my own recipes.” Some of Kneeland’s favorites are the hazy IPAs and barrel-aged sours.

Kneeland has been homebrewing for the past eight years and previously served as president of a Fort Collins homebrewing club. “It’s just a great community,” Kneeland said. “The brewing community in general is awesome.”

Kneeland hopes to open Damn Handsome Brewing to share his brews with the public by 2024. For now, you can find Kneeland on Instagram and Facebook as he shares his homebrewing adventures.
