According to the Thornton Office of Economic Development, the chicken finger restaurant plans to open next to the future site of In-N-Out Burger at 136th Ave. and I-25 in early 2022.

There’s no word yet on a specific time for a grand opening for the Thornton location, but Raising Cane’s has more than a dozen Colorado locations currently serving up fried chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and of course Cane’s sauce to customers.

Two other Colorado Raising Cane’s locations are set to open in 2022—one at West Belleview Avenue and South Wadsworth Boulevard in Littleton and another possibly at 4517 N. Central Park Boulevard in Denver.

Todd Graves opened the first Raising Cane’s restaurant, named after his yellow lab, in Baton Rouge in 1996. There are now more than 500 Raising Cane’s locations across the country.
