In late August, What Now Denver reported that Rush Bowls — a Boulder-based acai-focused fast-casual concept created by Andrew Pudalov — would open three Colorado locations at:
- 11010 Cross Peak View, Ste. 130, Colorado Springs 80921
- 1580 Blake St., Denver, 80202
- 3354 Larimer St., Denver, 80205
WND also reported that the Larimer St. location was to be operated by franchisee Sheila Riley. Riley graciously gave WND an interview regarding her incoming store, stating that she was hoping to open around June 2023.
Now, What Now Denver has learned that the Cross Peak View location in Colorado Springs — which will be Rush Bowls’ first Colorado Springs store — has locked down franchisees.
Randy Stauffacher and his wife Charity are excited to take over the establishment, explaining to The Gazette, “…We think the location is great [and] we’re hopeful it will be a busy, successful location.”
“The Stauffachers expect the 1,500-square-foot store to cater to a young customer base,” reports The Gazette, “especially with its proximity to Pike Peak State College’s Rampart Range campus.”
It’s currently unclear who the franchisee for the third location will be.
