Plans are in the works to open a Shake Shack in Greenwood Village. According to a report in the Denver Post, the restaurant will open on Arapahoe Road where the Macaroni Grill once stood.
According to the Shake Shack website, Colorado is home to about half a dozen locations including at Denver National Airport and in Boulder.
The New York-based chain offers a variety of burgers, including beef, chicken, and a fried portobello mushroom option. Shakes, floats, and custards are also on the menu.
There is no word yet on when the new Denver area location is set to open to the public, but it is expected to be located at 7979 E. Arapahoe Rd., Greenwood Village, CO 80112.
