The incoming Sukiya Ramen will soon open at 1472 S Pearl St Denver, CO 80210 — former home to Etc. Eatery. Sukiya Owner Kang Ho Shin will absorb Etc.’s remaining 12-year lease for the 2,700-square-foot building.

Etc. Eatery closed in June after a valiant two-year battle stemming from pandemic-derived issues. Owner Tim Chladek maintains that Covid “never gave him a fair shot, and the aftermath was too difficult to bounce back from.” Etc. served multicultural comfort food.

Sukiya, a restaurant boasting dishes from a multitude of regions in Japan, “first opened at 7939 E. Arapahoe Road in Greenwood Village. A second location was added in 2019 at 450 N. Broadway in Denver, and a third this year within the Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree,” according to The Denver Post.

While it’s unclear as to when the fourth Sukiya location will debut, additional information will be implemented as it’s received.
