Cantina Loca’s assets and lease were recently sold to the brand, which means there is minor remodeling to be redone — about $170,000. Louis Lee of Antonoff & Co. facilitated the property acquisition, with Axio Real Estate’s David Schneider representing Rodriguez.
Alex Lung and Johney Kim, the franchisees, are aiming for a late September or early October opening pending final permit approvals. Tasty Pot will offer a diverse menu featuring 16 different hotpot flavors, including Thai, Taiwanese, Chinese, and Korean styles, alongside boba and skillet dishes. The new spot will also feature a full bar serving Asian beers and cocktails.
“We are an authentic Taiwanese individual hotpot chain that seeks to provide healthy dining in a comfortable, modern setting. We believe that in order to live well, you must eat well, including when you eat out. You don’t have to sacrifice health VS taste. Our boiling hotpot soups are purposefully designed to leverage the natural taste of the various ingredients and are seasoned with seasonings imported from Taiwan, real meat bones, and cabbage,” Lung told What Now Denver.
