This new location has been in the works for a while, with original opening date slated for April 2022, but it has yet to open its doors. But new permits filed with the City and County of Denver show that the establishment is close to being ready for business.

Records show paperwork for a final agency inspection were submitted on May 26. A plumbing permit was issued on May 31, while an electrical permit and mechanical permit are still listed as “in progress.” Building logs show some recent adjustments to drawings for the kitchen and dishwasher.

Co-founder Jor Roon told What Now Denver, “Building permits have been approved and construction is set to commence” and to “stay tuned for further details about the grand opening.”

The original Tasty Thai is on Colfax in Capitol Hill, and the brand’s other location is Bua Traditional Thai Cuisine in Aurora. The brand is owned and operated by a refugee family.
