Per its website, weeteatogether.com, boba milk-tea, which features tea sweetened with milk, flavors, and/or sugar, has “taken over” as the drink of Asian youths in the past 20 years. In the United States, this trend continues with adults young and old alike sipping on the sweet drink and gnawing on the tapioca bubbles at the bottom of the beverage.
WeeTea’s two new locations build off of the franchise’s first spot in Arvada. WeeTea describes its ambition to bring the Taiwanese family tradition of sharing tea together to the U.S. These drinks are made from “premium, fresh, nutritious, organic ingredients” that blend with “high-quality” tea leaves. In addition to traditional milk- and fruit-teas recipes, WeeTea also serves up coffee, lemonade, and other fruit-flavored beverages.
WeeTea’s Arvada location is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
