White Lotus Therapeutics is expanding to add a second location just a couple of miles from its original spot that opened on Irving St. in Denver back in 2016. They began to outgrow the space, so owner Ryan Sharp decided to add a location. “We felt like it was time to expand and hopefully get involved with more people in a bigger part of the community,” Sharp said.

The new space at 3456 Tejon St. in LoHi formerly housed The Freyja Project, which offered yoga, dance and bar classes, and spa options. Sharp said White Lotus Therapeutics offers massage and yoga, so they fit into the space.

“We are taking one of the studios that was used for barre and dance classes and converting that into three different rooms,” Sharp said. “Two that will be used for massage and then another one that will be used for yoga continuing education teacher trainings and then some massage continuing education for massage therapists, as well.”

White Lotus Therapeutics offers a wide-range of yoga classes. “We’re not a typical power yoga,” he said. “We focus a lot more on body awareness, mindfulness, having an opportunity to connect with the community. Most of our classes tend to be a lot slower-going.” White Lotus Therapeutics offers vinyasa and restorative yoga classes.

According to the White Lotus Therapeutics website, they are dedicated “to empowering clients to take their health into their own hands” through education, motivation, and leading by example.

White Lotus Therapeutics offers herbal tea tinctures to clients and students for free, but they can also buy the blends in bulk. Sharp said they may expand to offer more beverages. “This space is going to have a lot more room for us to spread out, and so the lobby is going to be a little bit more like a lounge or café feel to it,” he shared.

The second White Lotus Therapeutics location is expected to open sometime this summer. “I’m really excited to get into that space.”
