The brand promising “no BS,” — what the company later describes as “bad stuff” — was created by Phil Dumontet and Alexa Squillaro while training for the New York City Marathon. After several talks about the right nutrition to best serve their bodies during the race, the two conceived a way to bring customers the ultimate superfoods in a variety of forms. Thus, Whole Sol Blend Bar was born.

Some delicious Whole Sol menu items include their limited edition Taco Bol — a decadent mixture of white rice, black beans, corn, and roasted sweet potatoes, topped with pico de gallo, fresh avocado, cilantro & a lime wedge — their Blueberry Peach Cobbler Bol, White Truffle Avocado Toast, and an array of fortifying/detox juices.

Dumontet told What Now Denver of the Longmont location, “Alexa and I are thrilled to bring Whole Sol’s signature smoothie bowls and 100% organic, gluten-free cuisine to Longmont with our 6th location in Colorado. This facility will also be home to our new state-of-the-art USDA organic juice assembly line and commissary, which will serve all of our Colorado locations and wholesale partners.”
