Yoga Pod co-founders Nicole and Gerry Wienholt hope to open their new Longmont studio in January of 2022. The studio at 2201 Ken Pratt Boulevard is under construction and will feature two large yoga rooms equipped with state-of-the-art heat and humidity systems.

“We have dreamt about bringing Yoga Pod to Longmont since before the COVID-19 pandemic, and now is the perfect time to turn our long-held dream into reality,” said Nicole Wienholt in a press release.

Various classes are available including podFLOW, podFIT, and podHOT. For beginners, podBASICS moves at a slower place for members to practice specific postures. The classes encourage members to embark on a journey toward greater health and connection while transforming the body and mind.

According to the Yoga Pod website, their vision is to “redefine fitness and forge a sustainable, intentional yoga practice through breath, strength, and sweat.”

Instructors undergo an extensive 200-hour teacher training course that provides understanding of yogic history and philosophy, as well as anatomy. The full-service studio provides mat and towel rentals and offers a locker room and showers.

Founding member rates starting at $89 are currently available for purchase. The soon-to-open Longmont location marks the fifth Colorado studio for Yoga Pod, which first opened in 2010 and has locations in other states including Texas and Florida.
