Ziggi’s Coffee will continue its explosive expansion with a fourth Colorado Springs store, aiming to open in about nine months in the Briargate commercial spread (at N. Power Blvd. and Briargate Pkwy.). According to Ziggi’s communications, the plan is to break ground “in a few months” with a typical timeline of about six months to develop the approximately 1,000 square-foot store, drive-thru window, drive-thru lane, parking lot, public sidewalk, and “other site requirements” (per Denver permitting docs).

What began in 2004 as a small, Main Street coffee shop in downtown Longmont, Colorado in 2000 has burst into dozens of Ziggi’s coffee shops across the U.S. (per Ziggi’s). This success is due, in part, to simplicity — reliable, “superior” coffee and superb service. Franchise owners Greg and Jill Bland told What Now Denver they are happy to add a new branch that further spreads this dependable quality in the Centennial State.

“We were the first of the Ziggi’s franchise to open a location South of Denver, and we are proud of the following we have built down here,” the Blands wrote.

The partners will extend what’s become a franchise empire that, at the end of 2022, featured 62 national destinations with an additional 120-plus locations in development (per Nation’s Restaurant News). This includes new Ziggi’s eats and drinks spread through Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, New Hampshire, New York, and South Dakota. Colorado, however, will remain the place with the deepest Ziggi’s roots.

“In addition to this location, we will soon be opening a location in Monument,” the Blands wrote. “We are looking forward to meeting our new customers and continuing to serve the Colorado Springs area delicious beverages and food items!”

Look for Ziggi’s number four in Colorado Springs towards the end of 2023.
