The business is working on receiving a change of use back to its original purpose. It is seeking to obtain a bed and breakfast license for the 7,399-square-foot property.

The main level at Castle Marne features a dining area, kitchen, patio, covered porch, and guest room. The second floor has a bedroom with a private balcony and two additional guest rooms. Three more guest rooms and a suite with a private balcony are on the third level.

Before closing, the B&B offered breakfast service, afternoon tea with soup, sandwiches, scones, and truffles, as well as intimate four-course candlelight dinners prepared by local chefs with local ingredients.
