In a big development for Lake George residents, a new restaurant is coming to town as another one closes. DJ’s Goodies will take over the space vacated by Hunt Brothers Pizza, located at 39608 US-24.
Social media posts show the business is gearing up to open and busy getting all the pieces of operation ready. The owner has been reaching out to the community, looking for crates, a sandwich prep table, and fishing/hunting decor.
Records show DJ’s Goodies was incorporated as an LLC last month. The sweet treats and bakery company will be at The Ponderosa Country Store and is sure to be a popular place in the city.
Owner of that Hunts Brothers Pizza location Charissa L Schmidt broke the news on social media that her outpost would not be returning. The company transferred ownership of the store to a different franchisee, and the business shut down.
