Records show the company is seeking permission to transform part of the existing restaurant seating area into a dedicated pizza kitchen and bar counter. A commercial construction permit filed on July 3 is listed as “in progress” and building plans were approved on July 8.

According to the permits, the project includes the installation of new food service equipment, updated lighting, and refined finishes. The total construction valuation for these enhancements stands at $144,500.

Halcyon responded to a request for comment by confirming that enhancements are being made “to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Halcyon consistently works to enhance its public spaces to improve guest experience,” said a spokesperson.

The rooftop bar will continue to offer its signature panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline, along with its extensive drink menu and creative fare. It’s open from 11 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday and from 11 AM to 8 PM on Sundays, year-round.
