As part of a $100 million upgrade to Empower Field at Mile Stadium at 1701 Bryant St., the Denver Broncos stadium is in the midst of several “key enhancements” (per Mile High CRE). As part of the largest capital reinvestment the stadium has ever experienced, fans will be treated to several concession improvements and two new concessions from the Aramark food company.

According to an Empower press release, the venue’s south deck will feature permanent concessions for the first time. In addition to concession upgrades and updates on levels 1, 2, 3, and 5, there will be additional “fan favorites” like Favs @ Mile High and Denver Cocktail Co. coming later in 2023.

Denver Cocktail Co. — a walkup bar with mixed drinks and beer — and Favs@MH — offering a variety of stadium standards like hot dogs, City Pop popcorn, nachos, and beverages — were first added to Empower Field in 2019. Food and drink at these stands is available for purchase via self-checkout at Mashgin artificial intelligence scanners for expedited transactions. The team asserts that this high-end tech is the largest deployment of autonomous markets of any national sports venue. As part of the massive renovation, Empower Field at Mile High is expanding access to this expedited self-checkout technology and a contactless shopping experience across concession areas to help increase the speed of service.

Along with concession areas, the project also will feature videoboard upgrades, an introduction of “premium hospitality areas,” a broader Broncos Team Store, and more elevators. These are all pieces in the grand plan to continue to deliver a memorable stadium experience to all pilgrims to Mile High.

“This significant investment demonstrates the deep commitment by the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group to immediately and continually provide the best possible experience for our fans,” Denver Broncos president Damani Leech said in a team press release. “As we look toward the future with the long-term plans for our stadium, we are equally focused on the present to ensure Empower Field at Mile High remains a premier sports and entertainment venue.”
