“Denver’s Urban Cowboy Public House is a vibrant nod to the historic 1880s saloons that once graced every corner of Downtown Denver,” said Urban Cowboy Hotels co-founder Lyon Porter in a statement. “With its inspired decor and charm, the upstairs area offers an exciting opportunity for private events, making it a versatile and dynamic space for any occasion.”

Urban Cowboy Public House will showcase an exclusive menu from Roberta’s Pizza, bringing Brooklyn’s flavors to Denver. The menu will feature classic dishes such as the Normcore pizza with Sungold tomatoes and Mozzarella di Bufala, wood-fired specialties like pasta al forno, market vegetables, and their famed house-made bread and stracciatella. In addition, the restaurant and bar will offer a selection of craft cocktails curated by 6-year Urban Cowboy veteran Alex Jay, head of beverage and general manager, who helms Urban Cowboy’s renowned cocktail programs across each property. Highlights of the cocktail menu include The Mama Rita, Public House Old Fashioned, Holy Molé, Little Charmer, Rattlesnake Jake, and a seasonally rotating milk punch. Guests can also enjoy wine and local brews.

“We’re fired up to work with Urban Cowboy once again for this fantastic new location” said Roberta’s co-founder Brandon Hoy. “Roberta’s expansion to the Mile-High City has been on our radar for quite some time, and we couldn’t be happier to join forces with the Urban Cowboy team to bring a touch of Brooklyn flavor to Denver’s dynamic food scene.”

Urban Cowboy Public House’s early opening marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Urban Cowboy Denver, with the full hotel slated to open in October 2024. Partnering with GBX Group and Denver Historic Preservation, this adaptive reuse project seamlessly blends conservation with modernization, showcasing a deep understanding of hospitality design.

Urban Cowboy Public House is located at 1665 Grant St., Denver, CO.
