“We are excited to confirm that we are in the process of purchasing the business and its assets. However, the deal is not done so we would prefer to wait until all of the details have been finalized before speaking to our plans for the space,” the company wrote on Facebook last week.

The post went on to state that the original taproom location and production center will remain in Loveland, near the downtown area. The new location is located off College Ave. near the busy Colorado State University campus.

Verboten Brewing was named after the German word for “forbidden.” The business offers barrel-aged beers, traditional styles, and experimental brews, with rotating selections each week. Its Loveland location is open from noon to 10 p.m. every day.
