CEO Mark Lohmann told What Now Denver that the brand is working on permitting and working diligently with municipality authorities. The goal is to have the location opened by early fall, however, an exact opening date is still to be determined while plans progress.

The restaurant will occupy a former Native Foods shell, and about $750,000 in renovations are scheduled. It will have an open-air feel and a patio space, which Lohmann thinks will be a “go-to spot throughout the summer season”.

“At Birdcall, our Colorado heritage is a source of immense pride, and we’re thrilled to share the news of our expansion within the state. Three new Colorado restaurants are currently under development, notably including this upcoming location in Fort Collins. Although our growth extends to Dallas and Phoenix, our commitment to the Front Range remains a priority, with active searches underway for future Birdcall sites,” Lohmann said.
