Legacy Pie Co. has a storied history: it’s an offshoot of Colorado Cherry Company, a family-owned business that’s been here since 1960. And now, the concept has a second location coming to 300 E Alameda Ave. “by the end of the year,” according to Westword.

The new location is at Wash Park Supply, a new retail center, and is currently being renovated. It will be smaller than the original location on Tennyson St., and oriented more for carry-out orders with a larger parking lot.
Elias and Rachel Lehnert are the owners of Legacy Pie Co. Elias is the great-grandson of Colorado Cherry Company‘s founders. They opened the third location of that business a few years ago but changed the name to Legacy Pie Co. earlier this year to encompass their baked options.
The Lehnerts are sourcing crowdfund investors for the Wash Park location. They did the same for the Tennyson store and raised over $120,000 through stakeholder donations that they pay back.
