Gilpin County is anxiously awaiting its newest brewery. Very Nice Brewing, a small-batch craft brewery with a location in Nederland, is building a spot at 180 Jankowski Dr. in Black Hawk, according to The Mountain Ear.
The newly built property is a 4,500-square-foot space with a brewing facility, tasting room, and patio with a picturesque mountain view. This second location will have a larger brew system and the opportunity to serve about twice as many beers as the Nederland spot.
Founder John Green was quoted as saying in an interview that they are “very excited to make Gilpin the home for our production. We want to bring to Gilpin what people should normally have in their communities: a space to hang out,” he elaborated.
Very Nice Brewing has been in business for 11 years and offers gluten-reduced beers at a dog-friendly facility. The company also sells soap and lotion bars that are made from beer, goat’s milk, and herbs.
