The N.O.S.H suddenly shuttered in late August after serving the community for almost a decade; it was formerly known as The Noshery. Now, Funky Flame, a local mobile vendor, will be taking over the space at 4994 Lowell Blvd., Westword reports.

Funky Flame is a business started by Allison Declercq and husband Colton Steiner. They previously serve baked goods and fresh pizzas from a wood-fired oven on a pop-up basis at other local businesses or farmers markets, and are excited to have a physical location.
This new spot, in the Regis neighborhood off of I-70, already has a built-in cafe space and kitchen. Declercq and Steiner will be adding a coffee counter area and painting a mural as well. They hope they will be open to open its doors in the next few months.
The plan is to still have the wood-fired oven out back cooking up the pizzas, but they will also serve things like sandwiches and dessert items. Funky Flame’s business hours will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
